Founder of Shooting Gallery Larry Meistrich, who has recently launched Nehst Media Enterprises, a film production, financing and distribution company to create features, television, direct-to-Web content and spin off products and services.
Known for previously launching an indie distribution Film Movement, Larry as a producer has over twenty feature films to his credit including Academy Award winner " Sling Blade " ( Billy Bob Thornton), Academy Award nominated " You can count on me " ( Laura Linney) , "Belly," "Laws of Gravity" and "Croupier." Larry made industry history when Billy Bob Thornton's Academy Award winner "Sling Blade " was purchased by Miramax for a price that broke all previous sale records in independent film.
NEHST Media Enterprises is Larry's new venture along with a group of industry executives. They have secured financing for a significant slate of films to be made within the next two years and are on the look out for ideas, scripts to buy or to develop, projects to finance, musicians, actors, editors, dps, screenwriters, etc. for their projects.
