Alone and on the verge of death, an aging man writes a final letter to
his estranged son.
As he puts words to paper, the corrosive specter of disease invades his mind and forces him to confront the buried moments from his life, both harrowing and poignant. Events of the casual and momentous are connected through expressive faces, stark imagery, and rhythmic editing.
Ultimately, the man's search for respite collides with the existential and the spiritual, as he awakens to his final epiphany.
